On the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s 69th birthday, the makers of his upcoming film Vishwambhara unveiled his first look from the movie. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi was spotted with his wife, Surekha at Tirumala temple in a traditional outfit to seek blessings from Lord Venkateswara Swamy.

On Thursday, Chiranjeevi celebrated his 69th birthday at Tirumala temple with his wife Surekha and other family members. The mega superstar was spotted at the temple in a regal traditional outfit as he sought blessings from Lord Venkateswara Swamy on the occasion of his birthday. The superstar, who was recently honoured with the Padma Vibhushan for his work in the Indian cinema, will be next seen in the much anticipated Vishwambhara Part 1: The Artifact.

To create more buzz around the film, the makers of Vishwambhara released Chiranjeevi’s first look on the occasion of his birthday. The fantasy film, which is directed and written by Mallidi Vassishta, will star Chiranjeevi in the titular role alongside Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ashika Ranganath, Surbhi Puranik, and Isha Chawla with music by M. M. Keeravani. Made on a massive budget of Rs 200 crores, the film is expected to release in theatres on 10th January 2025.

Chiranjeevi’s first look at Vishwambhara shows him standing in a powerful stance with a Trishul in his hand. The post reads, “When darkness and evil take over the world, a shall shine bright to fight Happy Birthday, MEGASTAR @KChiruTweets. Let the world witness your aura with #Vishwambhara.”

Vishwambhara was announced exactly one year from now on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. It was announced under the tentative title Mega 156 to mark Chiranjeevi’s 156th film. The Telegu-language film started its principal photography in January 2024 and was initially rumored to be a sequel to Chiranjeevi’s 1990 fantasy film, Jagdeka Veerdu Athiloka Sundari. However, the film’s director Mallidi Vassistha soon clarified the rumors and said that the film was an entirely new story and was unrelated to Jagdeka Veerdu Athiloka Sundari.

Major Celebrities Took To Social Media To Wish Chiranjeevi Happy Birthday

Allu Arjun, who will return on the screens with Pushpa 2 at the end of the year wished Chiranjeevi on X with this tweet, “Many happy returns of the day to our megastar Chiranjeevi Garu @KChiruTweets.”

RRR star Jr NTR wished the cinema icon on X by writing, “A very happy birthday Chiranjeevi Garu @KChiruTweets. Wishing you a year filled with joy, success, and good health.”

Actor Sai Dharam Tej wished his maternal uncle by sharing Chiranjeevi‘s pictures and writing, “Happy Birthday to My Supreme Hero, the one I look upto & aspire to do service to the people like him, My Dearest Pedha Mama @KChiruTweets Wishing you all the good health, love, happiness, laughter & happiest of the years #HBDMegasraeChiranjeevi.”

Mahesh Babu also wished Chiranjeevi a happy birthday by writing, “Happy birthday @KChiruTweets garu! Wishing you peace, great health, and continued success.” Chiranjeevi’s brother actor and politician Pawan Kalyan in an interview also lauded his elder brother for his unparalleled contributions to Indian cinema and his compassion for others.
