Karan Johar’s latest adventure includes hosting the Indian version of the hit reality show ‘The Traitors‘ which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime. In the show, twenty of India’s most cunning contestants play the ultimate murder mystery game. We could be seeing a few of the popular faces of Bollywood along with new faces. The American version of the show is hosted by award-winning actor Alan Cumming at an ancient castle in Scotland as the participants work together on exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. The show is currently under production.

The Koffee with Karan host said that having watched the U.K. and U.S. versions, he has become an avid fan of the format and is in awe of Claudia Winkleman and Alan Cumming, who are so marvellous in the way they host their respective shows with poise yet suspenseful theatrics that leave you at the edge of your seat. Building on the very successful relationship with Prime Video, he is thrilled to take on the mantle as the host for the Indian adaptation of the show. And the 20 players on the show are in for an unforgettable and unpredictable journey, especially with him operating in the shadows.
Celebrities Who Are Expected to Join the Cast
Sudhanshu Pandey, also known as Vanraj from Anupamaa, will reportedly appear on Karan Johar’s next reality project.
Uorfi Javed, the paparazzi’s favourite star on the block, is also rumoured to appear on this new reality show. According to reports, the filmmaker has arrived in Jaisalmer to shoot the show, and the first promotional clip has already been shot.
