Horror legend Matthew Lillard, known for his role in Scream, teams up with Danielle Harris, famed for her appearances in the Halloween franchise, to serve up some truly terrifying treats. The special debuts today on Thursday, October 8.
Brought to life by Blumhouse Television, known for its horror expertise, and High Noon Entertainment, the creators behind Cake Boss, Killer Cakes is unlike anything ever seen on TV. According to the official synopsis, it’s “a one-of-a-kind competition show where talented bakers with a knack for the grotesque will face some of the most horrifying challenges ever created for television.” Contestants will team up with Hollywood’s best special effects artists to unleash their wild imaginations, crafting cakes that are so disturbingly lifelike, that they’ll haunt your nightmares.
Lillard takes the role of host for this thrilling competition, while Harris, alongside Nikk Alcaraz—an experimental artist and cookbook author—will serve as judges, ready to decide which baker’s creations are the most frighteningly impressive.
