Squid Game Season 2: People’s favourite Squid Game has returned to Netflix for a 2nd season with its first teaser out today. The trailer was released at the streamer’s annual Geekend Week fan event.
What’s the Plot of Squid Game Season 2?
Season 2 of Squid game will be picked right after Season 1’s finale. We will see Seong Gi-hun abandon his flight to go to the U.S. and instead start chasing the mystery man who introduced him to the Squid Game at the beginning of season 1. In the teaser, we see him back in his 456 uniform between a crowd of new contestants. A new crash prize waits for them and we also get a quick look at the games introduced this season. The hugely popular Korean television series explores the darkest corners of human desperation and resiliency by following impoverished people as they compete in lethal games for the chance to win a prize that could change their lives, just like in season 1.
Who is Joining Season 2 of Squid Game?
Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo return to their roles as the bloodied elimination game survivors in the second season.
Yim Si-wan (“The Attorney,” “Emergency Declaration”), Kang Ha-neul (“Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet”), Park Gyu-young (“Attack the Gas Station”), Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim (“Kim Ji-young: Born 1982”), Lee David (“The Terror Live”), Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yuri, and Won Ji have joined the cast of the second instalment of the show.
