The show tells the story of Anna, an alcoholic who sadly lost her child, and thinks that she witnessed a murder happening in the house across the street from her. She has a crippling fear of rain and is ostracized by her community for being weird.

3. I May Destroy You

I May Destroy You is a highly acclaimed black comedy that follows Arabella, a Twitter star turned novelist who is struggling to meet the deadline on her second book, in the aftermath of a series of sexual assaults she experiences in a short span of time. It also tells the story of her closest friends, Terry and Kwame.

4. Fleabag

Told in the first perspective, like Baby Reindeer, Fleabag is a somewhat light-hearted show that follows Fleabag, who is free-spirited whilst simultaneously being angry and frustrated. Fleabag introduces us to several characters in her life, from a loan officer to her old friend, who passed away recently, to her sister and obnoxious husband, and her father and soon-to-be stepmother. Fleabag can be hilarious in some places and absolutely gut-wrenchingly sad in others.

5. Russian Doll

Russian Doll is a comedy-drama television series that follows Nadia, a game developer, who on her 36th birthday becomes caught in a time loop where she dies and wakes up on the same day. While she is stuck in the time loop, she meets a man who is inexplicably experiencing the same thing. The two must figure out the significance of this occurrence to stop this hellish nightmare. In the second season of the show, both Nadia and Alan, find themselves stuck inside the bodies of their moms.
