Ram Charan’s Game Changer is a highly anticipated Telugu political action drama and has been making waves ever since its announcement. Mostly, due to the exciting first-time collaboration between acclaimed director S Shankar and superstar Ram Charan. Following the successful launch of the film’s first song, “Jaragandi,” the creators have now unveiled the lyrical video for the second track, which is packed with energy and designed to keep fans engaged.
Raa Macha Macha Review
The new song, titled “Raa Macha Macha,” is a high-tempo dance number that aims to maintain the buzz surrounding the movie leading up to its promotion. The lyrical video offers a glimpse of the song’s sequence, featuring a stylish Ram Charan dancing energetically with a massive troupe of background performers. The 4-minute-42-second video also includes some exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from the song’s filming.
The video introduces Ram Charan’s character making a grand entrance by stepping out of a helicopter, surrounded by a cheering crowd. This introductory song, shot on Vizag’s Beach Road, involves numerous dancers dressed in traditional folk attire, adding a vibrant cultural element to the sequence.
A standout moment in the song is when Ram Charan pays homage to his father, legendary actor Chiranjeevi, by recreating the iconic “veena step” from the famous song “Dayi Dayi Damma” in Indra. The lyrics even highlight this nostalgic moment with the line, “Veena step-u vestheni, whistle sound-u dhada dhada,” translating to “Whistles galore when I do the veena step.”
Audience Review of Ram Charan’s Veena Step
Fans were ecstatic with the tribute to Chiranjeevi, flooding social media with their reactions. One fan excitedly commented, “He perfectly recreated his father’s veena step!” Another fan expressed, “The idea of Ram Charan doing the veena step itself is exciting,” while another pointed out the thoughtful inclusion of elements for different fan bases, “The red cloth for Pawan Kalyan’s fans, and the veena step for Chiranjeevi’s fans.”
The electrifying composition of “Raa Macha Macha” is credited to Thaman S, who has a stellar track record with hit films like Race Gurram, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Krack, and Bheemla Nayak. Anantha Sriram wrote the lyrics for the song, while Nakash Aziz delivered the powerful vocals.
Produced by Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, Game Changer has been in development since 2021. With a storyline by Karthik Subbaraj, the screenplay is penned by Farhad Samji and Vivek, complemented by dialogues from Sai Madhav Burra. S. Thirunavukkarasu took charge as the film’s cinematographer, with Shameer Muhammed handling editing duties. The film will be released in Tamil and Hindi, alongside the original Telugu version, although the release date has not yet been confirmed.
Game Changer holds significant importance for both Shankar and Ram Charan, as their previous projects, Indian 2 (2024) and Acharya (2022), respectively, were major box office disappointments. With high expectations, the duo aims to bounce back and deliver a massive hit with Game Changer.
