When and Where to Watch The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh

Get ready for a fresh blend of humor and heart in The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, an exciting family comedy-drama brought to life by Vijal Patel, the creative force behind Black-ish. Loosely inspired by his own experiences, this eight-episode series tells the story of the Pradeep family—Mahesh (played by Naveen Andrews), Sudha (Sindhu Vee), and their three kids: Bhanu (Sahana Srinivasan), Kamal (Arjun Sriram), and Vinod (Ashwin Sakthivel)—as they navigate the ups and downs of life after immigrating from India to the United States.

Set in modern-day America, the show unfolds in a unique way, with the Pradeeps recounting their experiences from an interrogation room for reasons that remain mysterious. As they share their memories, audiences are taken on a hilarious journey involving their tangled relationships with their polar-opposite neighbors, the Mills family—played by Megan Hilty, Ethan Suplee, and Nicholas Hamilton, portraying Janice, Jimbo, and Stu, respectively. These mismatched families get involved in all sorts of romantic, personal, and professional entanglements, leading to an unpredictable series of events with plenty of laughs and surprises along the way.

The series is packed with an all-star production team. In addition to Patel, Emmy winners Sara Gilbert, Mandy Summers, and Tom Werner are on board as executive producers. Michael Showalter, known for his work with Semi-Formal Productions, also serves as an executive producer and directs the pilot episode. Pete Holmes and Romy Rosemont make guest appearances as the interrogation officers, adding to the intrigue.

Patel shared his inspiration behind the show, explaining, “This series comes from a deeply personal place and explores the many layers of the immigrant journey. As my parents like to joke, the hardships became funnier as time passed—like a fine wine.”

Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh is sure to deliver a blend of humor, heartfelt moments, and cultural commentary. Keep an eye out for its upcoming release on Prime Video, where you can stream the full season and dive into the misadventures of the Pradeep family.
